 Dr. Joanne Block Rief has practiced dentistry since 1986.
She is a graduate of the Baltimore College of Dental Surgery,University of Maryland. She also received her B.S.
in Dental Hygiene from the University of Rhode Island. Dr. Block Rief is currently continuing her dental education
at the Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Dental Studies.
She is also certified in Invisalign which is virtually invisible aligners that move teeth. Her restorative
practice provides services which include filling replacement with non-metal alternatives,
to a full range of cosmetic treatment. Dr. Block Rief can also converse with patients who speak Spanish.
Dr. Block Rief has been recognized by her peers as a fellow of The Pierre Fauchard Academy and is a member of the Dean's
Faculty at the University at Maryland School of Dentistry.
Dr. Block Rief describes her treatment style as educational and interactive. She refers to provide each patient with an
explanation of treatment, options available and discuss the pros and cons of each. Then together, we can decide on a
course of action.
